After receiving both her Bachelor of Science in Social Work from the University of Louisiana at Monroe and her Master of Public Administration with a concentration in Human Resources Management from Grambling State University, Nicole began her more than 20 year career in human resource management.
As a Senior Human Resource Representative for Sasol North American Operation, she works closely with those employees that are governed under the Company’s collective bargaining agreement. She serves as an interface for external employment agencies, occupational health facilities and other human resource personnel. Her primary role is to promote good employee relations for all.
Nicole facilitates career development and planning workshops throughout the State. She truly has a passion for working collaboratively with individuals to better understand their professional purpose. Through her career planning and development workshops, individuals are able to visualize their future and develop a strategic career plan with attainable goals.
Nicole has an accomplished record of civic and volunteer involvement that is unparalleled in the community. She has been involved with numerous leadership roles and organizations including: The Lake Charles Downtown Development Authority, The Southwest Louisiana Workforce Development Board, Council for a Better Louisiana 2016 graduate of “Leadership Louisiana”, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southwest Louisiana (Lunch Buddy volunteer), Southern University Business and Industry Cluster, Partners in Education (Company Liaison collaborating with Combre-Fondel Elementary), Junior Achievement of Southwest Louisiana, Culture Festival of Southwest Louisiana, Lake Charles Education Collaboration, Black Heritage Gallery (Ambassador) and the Lake Charles Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. (Diamond Life Member).
With all of her accolades and accomplishments, Nicole knows that her greatest accomplishment is raising her two nieces Audrianna Jean and Stacie Patterson (parents of her favorite people great-niece Cambree (5) and great nephews Brayden (9) and Liam (3).
